On top of that, while the plants matched the height shown in the website photos, they were about the same size as my own mini rose that’s under a year old. This made me wonder whether they were actually two years old or simply not well cared for before shipping.

Thankfully, the roses are now growing very vigorously, which shows they were healthy after all. Still, at the time of delivery, I was genuinely worried about whether they would survive.
