I received this rose at the beginning of August wirh 4 healthy sized canes and a few smaller ones. The rose is leafing out beautifully. I've always had a great experience with Rose Explosion and this time was no different.

When I received the plants, their overall condition didn’t quite match the photos on the website. In their website pictures, the roses had plenty of white roots and leafy growth. I understand that leaves are often trimmed for fall shipping, which is reasonable. But the roots raised concern—there were barely any visible white roots, just a few short, black-brown ones that didn’t look strong at the time (see my photos attached).
On top of that, while the plants matched the height shown in the website photos, they were about the same size as my own mini rose that’s under a year old. This made me wonder whether they were actually two years old or simply not well cared for before shipping.
